Q2 2011

Marked rise in take-up

In the first half of 2011, the Dortmund office market registered turnover of 40,000 m². That corresponds to a substantial rise, of 74 %, on the same period last year. The increase was due to lively market activity, especially in the segment between 2,001 m² and 5,000 m², which generated a share of 29 % of total take-up. In the first six months of the year, three business sectors predominated: in first place came public administration, with 27 %, followed by information and communications technologies (26 %) and other services (23 %).
