With take-up of 46,000 m2, the Cologne office market finished the first quarter more than 6 % down on its result in 2009. The still somewhat reticent scale of demand is especially evident in the size category 1,001 m2 to 2,000 m2, where no new leases at all were registered in the first three months of the year. In terms of distribution by business sectors, other services (over 31 %) and consultancies (around 22 %) together generated over half of all take-up.
