Record take-up thanks to huge lease

With turnover of 148,000 m2, Düsseldorf got off to an outstanding start in 2010 and registered one of the best quarterly results. However, a major proportion of the total was accounted for by a 90,000 m2 lease concluded by Vodafone. Without that, take-up would have been only slightly higher than the prior-year figure of 54,000 m2. The Vodafone lease made information and communications technologies easily the biggest contributor to turnover, with over two-thirds of the total, followed by other services with just under 10 %.
