Biggest turnover fall of all major office locations
With take-up of 163,000 m2, the Düsseldorf office market registered a year-on-year decline of just under 48 % – the steepest fall among the key locations. The medium and larger size categories in particular generated only few new leases. The categories of below 500 m2 accounted for one third of the total. The highest contribution to turnover came from the subcentres, with around 45,500 m2; here, the zone Düsseldorf North/Airport did especially well (more than 22,000 m2). The inner city also turned in a good result, with about 30,500 m2.
