Record results in the German warehouse and logistic market
• Favourable macro-economic developments assured the Hamburg and Frankfurt regions of record take-up results, of approx. 612,000 sq m (+69% y-o-y) and 326,000 sq m (+22% y-o-y) respectively.
• The investment volume of logistics properties almost doubled, to €880m.
• At present, there is a shift in the investment criteria of investors being observed in terms of location and lease terms, but not in terms of the investment volume.
• Nevertheless, it is particularly difficult to find attractive investments in smaller individual lot sizes of €10m that meet investors’ traditional criteria.
