Take-up passes 400,000 m² threshold for the first time
In 2010, the logistics market in Berlin (including environs) achieved a new record, when takeup broke through the 400,000 m² ceiling for the first time, to end the year with a total of 407,000 m². Compared with the year before, that represented an increase of 73 %, and it was also almost double the longterm average since 2001 (206,200 m²). The result gave Berlin second place after Hamburg among the most important logistics locations in Germany.
