Take-up at record level

Take-up of logistics and warehouse space in North Rhine-Westphalia in the first half of 2011 reached a total of 805,000 m² – well over double the figure achieved in the same period last year and in fact already more than the result posted for the whole of 2010 (679,000 m²). This indicates that the market is benefiting from the positive general economic environment and the increase in trade. While Cologne, with a total of 117,000 m², was unable to quite match its prior-year result (-3 %), Düsseldorf doubled its take-up to 150,000 m².
