sharp fall in turnover

Take-up of office space in Munich in the first nine months of the year totalled 403,000 m2. compared with the equivalent period in 2008, that represents a decline of around 34 %, which is in line with the nationwide trend. Despite the lower turnover, demand in the smaller size categories, of up to 1,000 m2, was lively. Together they accounted for almost 45 % of the total result. in terms of demand-by-businesssector, the leaders were information and communications technologies (16 %), consultancies (14 %) and other services (13 %).
