Colliers to lease, market and manage Tirana Business Park

Colliers International signed an important long term investor representation agreement with a German development company based outside of Munich, Lindner Development. Colliers will be engaged in providing exclusive leasing/selling services of the commercial space, development advisory, marketing, legal and property management advisory services.

“We’re continuing a tradition that has gone beyond a decade”, said Michael Ulmer-Lindner, the General Manager of Lindner Development.

“As Colliers we are more than excited to bring the Lindner expertise to the Albanian market. We believe that through our joint cooperation we will be able to change and further improve construction standards in Albania”, added Stela Dhami, the General Manager of Colliers in Albania.

Tirana Business Park will be the single largest commercial development project ever done in Albania since the fall of communism – as well as the first business park in Albania. The project is located on a parcel land of 210,000 square meters, and the projected built-up area is expected to exceed well in excess of 200,000 square meters of office, warehouse and small-scale light industrial buildings. This is the fourth business park that Lindner has developed in Europe. The latest one was built in Sofia, Bulgaria and consist of 14 buildings in excess of 300,000 sq meters. Colliers was the exclusive development advisor, as well as leasing and sales agent throughout the nine year process of phased construction.

Tirana Business Park will be situated near the Mother Teresa International Airport in Preza Commune, Tiranë. The project will be constructed in two phases with the first phase expected to start in October/November 2010.
