Expansion of the Frankfurt airport creates positive demand for modern development areas for commercial space

Hessen: „With the expansion of the Frankfurt airport and the medium-term creation of approx. 100,000 new jobs including suppliers naturally the demand for commercial spaces also increases", said Martin Birkert, Senior Consultant NAI apollo, in his speech yesterday at the Heuer Dialog congress ‚Airport Cities in international comparison’ at the Airport Conference Center Frankfurt.

For many years, said Birkert, „there were only few potential development areas for modern commercial and logistics real estate near the airport“. This has changed significantly and currently as well as in the near future new attractive projects are being developed. „On the one hand stock users will increase their demand for space at this location, on the other hand this primarily provides many companies with the opportunity of a competitive settlement near the Frankfurt airport", said Birkert.
