Great Britain: Councillors from The Planning, Development, Europe and Tourism Committee of The Highland Council have given their full support to AMEC's plans to develop the Edinbane wind farm proposal. With the planning recommendation to approve the proposal uncontested by members at a meeting on 9th March 2007 there was no need for a formal vote to take place. The proposal consists of 18 wind turbines and will have a capacity of 23.4MW.
