News 2008-02-22 Europe | Europe Jan Sijbrand appointed as NIBC’s Chief Risk OfficerEurope: The Supervisory Board of NIBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Sijbrand (54) as Chief Risk Officer, with effect from 22 February 2008 and the intention to appoint him, subject to regulatory approval, as member of the Managing Board of NIBC Holding N.V., NIBC Bank N.V. and NIBC Investment Management N.V. Mr.Sijbrand has extensive experience in both trading and risk management gained during his career with Shell, Rabobank and, lastly, ABN AMRO Bank. At ABN AMRO Bank he has been responsible, inter alia, for all market-credit and operational risk in the Bank and was, in that capacity, co-chair of the Group Risk Committee. Related news
